Easy Crockpot Lasagna


Crockpot Monday yesterday was an overwhelming success!! Monday Night Football had NOTHING on this bad boy!



1 lb ground beef, browned and drained
1 t Italian seasoning
8 lasagna noodles, uncooked
28 oz jar spaghetti sauce
⅓ c water
15 oz container ricotta cheese
4 c shredded mozzarella cheese
Optional: 4 oz can sliced mushrooms, drained

Cooking Instructions

  1. Place half of your noodles in the bottom of your crock pot (if you are not using a casserole crock, you will have to break your noodles)
  2. In a bowl, mix together your beef and Italian seasoning, spread half of mixture over your noodles
  3. Cover your meat mixture with half of remaining ingredients (I layered ricotta first, then sauce, then mozzarella)
  4. Repeat layering
  5. Cover and cook on low for 5 hours

Serve with a side salad and BAM! Instant family WIN! Did I mention it took like NO time at all to make? Just don’t forget to cook your beef first!

*Try substituting ground turkey for ground beef for a leaner option!*
