Healthy Heart Challenge


Can you believe February is already upon us? Part of me wants to stay in denial, but most of me is SUPER excited! I’ve always loved new beginnings. For example, Monday is like my favorite day of the week because I get to set new goals, re-do chances at bad habits, get organized and stuff like that. Kinda nerdy.

New months aren’t much different for me, but February 1st falls on a Monday!! It’s like Christmas! (geez, I really am a nerd…) THIS month I’m launching my new health and fitness group called the Healthy Heart Challenge.

My first challenge group was almost 3 years ago. I was in the middle of my weight loss journey when I found Beachbody. I had lost 15 pounds, but had plateaued and I was stuck and frustrated. When a friend asked me to try this program he and his wife were doing and they were getting great results, I was totally skeptical at first because, well, as a former athlete, I didn’t DO home videos. It was laughable to me. Thank goodness I got over myself and my stupid ego and finally said YES. It was the best decision I ever made.

I lost 20 pounds and numerous inches doing Les Mills Combat and drinking Shakeology daily. My energy and confidence returned and I knew I wanted to pay it forward and tell other people about how a challenge group changed my life. That’s one reason why I love coaching so much – I’m able to help women who are in the same place I was in and give them hope that they have the power to change and get results.

With my new group, Healthy Heart Challenge, kicking off on February 15th, I’m excited to work with 10 women who are ready to push themselves to reach their goals. This group is a closed online support and accountability group where I will help to match you up with the fitness program that meets your needs. Then each participant will be required to replace 1 meal a day with Shakeology for the duration of the 30 days. My goal is to teach you how to make clean eating a lifestyle change versus something you do only for this challenge. I will share meal plans, recipes, snack ideas and more with you. Each day you will log into the group to find a tip from me, helpful videos, accountability from others in the group and motivation to keep going when you would rather give up on yourself.


The group is going to be a select group of motivated people who are ready to change!!! If you invest in the program I will see you through to the very end! There is no looking back! It’s time to say goodbye to the old you and HELLO new YOU in 2016!!!! Are you in???


1. I must be your assigned Team Beachbody Coach. If you already have a coach or you ARE A COACH then please contact your coach for their next group. If you do not have a coach make me your coach here!

2. You must commit to both a Fitness program and replacing 1 meal a day with Shakeology for 30 days.

3. You must actively participate in the daily group check-ins.

4. You must have a strong desire to change your bad habits and a willingness to try new things.

If you meet the requirements then it’s time to complete the application below! I will be selecting a group of individuals to join me in the group this week!


Like I said above, I didn’t think I could get a good workout at home from a DVD. I was used to being pushed hard in training by a real person – but I couldn’t afford a personal trainer after relocating. We had too many bills to pay off. But I trusted my friends and said why not go for it. I followed the workout schedule, cleaned up my nutrition and much to my surprise it worked and I never had to leave the house to go to the gym to get results! [which is great because I despise gyms]
