It’s hard for me to look past Thanksgiving this week, but before you know it, all the turkey and stuffing will be gone…and we will look in the mirror next Monday morning and be like “Ah hell!” Thoughts of “why didn’t I workout more this week” or “I gotta get my butt in gear before all the holiday parties” will start creeping in if you’re not ready for them. But guess what? You CAN be ready!
HOW? With my 30-day support and accountability group aptly titled “Joy to the Workout!” —> See what I did there?
I know, you’re thinking, how can I help you if I live in Dallas and you live in, say Detroit. Well, that’s the power of social media – I can hold you accountable and keep you motivated to do your workouts and eat healthier even if you live on the other side of the country. Everyone who joins us will be put into a private Facebook group where I will post every day, encourage you to post sweaty selfies, pictures of recipes and meals you’re eating, and we’ll all stay on top of each other and help each other!
My first challenge group was almost 3 years ago. I was in the middle of my weight loss journey when I found Beachbody. I had plateaued and I was stuck and frustrated. When a friend asked me to try this program he and his wife were doing and they were getting great results, I was totally skeptical at first because, well, as a former athlete, I didn’t DO home videos. It was laughable to me. Thank goodness I got over myself and my stupid ego and finally said YES. It was the best decision I ever made.
I lost 20 pounds and numerous inches doing Les Mills Combat and drinking Shakeology daily. My energy and confidence returned and I knew I wanted to pay it forward and tell other people about how a challenge group changed my life. That’s one reason why I love coaching so much – I’m able to help women who are in the same place I was in and give them hope that they have the power to change and get results.
I want highly motivated people who want accountability over the holidays. Who don’t mind a little tough love to keep them on track. We’ll have a ton of fun, too, don’t worry! Contests and prizes for participation!! WHOOHOOOOO!
1. I must be your assigned Team Beachbody Coach. If you already have a coach or you ARE A COACH then please contact your coach for their next group. If you do not have a coach make me your coach here!
2. You must commit to a Beachbody fitness program for 30 days. Shakeology is highly suggested for best results, but is not required. I will help you choose a program that best fits your needs and fitness level.
3. You must actively participate in the daily group check-ins.
4. You must have a strong desire to change your bad habits and a willingness to try new things.

Like I said above, I didn’t think I could get a good workout at home from a DVD. I was used to being pushed hard in training by a real person – but I couldn’t afford a personal trainer after relocating. We had too many bills to pay off. But I trusted my friends and said why not go for it. I followed the workout schedule, cleaned up my nutrition and much to my surprise it worked and I never had to leave the house to go to the gym to get results! [which is great because I despise gyms]
Holidays are NUTS! Make it easy on yourself and join myself and other women just like you who are trying to stay on task in December! I can’t wait to work with you!!
