It finally got cold here in Dallas…At least I think so…For awhile anyway…Okay, you never know. Regardless, I’m sitting here wishing for warm cider drink, but instead drinking La Croix because I’m Refresh-ing. That didn’t stop me from finding a yummy hot cranberry cider to try this weekend!
I actually combined recipe ideas so I could make a clean cider without a lot of added sugar. I saw that a lot of hot ciders can be made in the slow cooker, too, so that’s a plus!
In a slow cooker, add all ingredients and cook on high for 2-3 hours, stirring occasionally. Add fresh cranberries, a cinnamon stick, and orange wedge for topping.
NOTES: Use cranberry juice, not cranberry cocktail. Use real apple cider, not apple juice. For freshest and cleanest taste, squeeze your oranges for the orange juice. If you want to sweeten it more, use stevia, NOT sweet n low or other chemical sweetener.
So do you wanna try it or what? Post below your thoughts and share with your friends! I’d love some feedback!
